PEER Review
Peer review allows your research to be evaluated by the experts within the same academic or professional field. In this process, IRIS 2025 Committee will use a double-blind review mode, neither the author nor the reviewers are aware of each others identity.
It aims to:
- ensure that the topic is relevant and covered with the conference theme.
- make sure that the necessary standards are met for presentation and publication.
- provide detailed and constructive feedback and discuss the selection of accepted paper.
In the peer review process the following are being reviewed:
- Scope: Align with the scope of the conference
- Originality: Original material is distinct from other publication
- Validity: Well-designed and executed
- Data: Data reported, analyzed and reported accurately
- Clarity: Ideas are expressed in clear, concise and logical way
- Compliance: Ethical considerations and publications are met
- Advancement: Relevant and significant contribution the field
Conference possible peer review decisions:
- ACCEPTED: Paper will be published without edits.
- ACCEPTED with REVISION: Paper is accepted after the required and necessary revisions.
- REJECTED: paper will not proceed to the conference and publication.
Reviewer Application
To serve as peer-reviewed, you must:
- Holding a current doctoral candidate or doctoral student.
- Be an established expert in the field.
- Have co-authored a published paper or have participated in a faculty research project.
- Have past experience of reviewing abstracts/full papers and being in the editorial board.
- Fluent in language and grammar.
- Be willing to work with peers, provide support and review the paper during blind peer-review.
Part of being a peer-reviewed, you will be listed as a technical peer-reviewed in the webpage conference and getting an electronic reviewer certificate.
